The Third Joint IPv6 Research Project Meeting was Held at APAN51

2 February, 2020 – The 3rd project meeting was held successfully during APAN51 for sharing the project updates with around 60 participants.

Three presentations from the partner organizations were delivered, focusing on joint IPv6 project updates, R&E network experiences and IPv4 to IPv6 transition.

Ms. Jie An from Tsinghua University presided at the meeting. Prof. Jilong Wang welcomed everyone and announced the meeting open. Dr. Changqing An from Tsinghua University updated the project activities, Chalermpol Charnsripinyo from ThaiRen presented issues and challenges for R&E network operation, management, and governance in Thailand, M Hussain Faqeri from AfgREN gave the speech entitled IPv4 to IPv6 transition strategies.
