With the publication of the technical report for the first phase of the project “Developing a Collaborative BGP Routing Analyzing and Diagnosing Platform” by the APNIC Foundation, the first phase has now concluded.
As of December 2023, the second phase of the project has officially commenced. Both phases are co-funded by the APNIC Foundation and Tsinghua University.
Building on the developments of the BGPWatch and Looking Glass platforms established in the project “Joint Research on IPv6 Network Management: Research Development and Demonstration,” which took place from June 2020 to May 2023 and funded by the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the first phase of the APNIC/Tsinghua co-funded project aimed to improve the platforms and establish more partnerships with NRENs across the Asia Pacific region.
Currently, in the second phase, the objectives are to enhance the features and functionalities of the platforms, and to establish partnerships with global NRENs, institutions, and organizations in the field to facilitate international collaborations.
