Bio:
Dr. Roshan Ragel received the B.Sc. degree in engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from UNSW, Sydney, NSW, Australia, in 2007. He is a professor in computer engineering with the University of Peradeniya. His research interests include fault-tolerant and dependable computing, accelerated and high-performance computing, wearable computing, and synthesis of secure and reliable embedded processors. Prof. Ragel is a Senior Member of the IEEE Computer Society.
